The Full Story

In our experience, if you have a good idea, and all your closest friends (ie those who are the least concerned with your emotional well-being and give feedback with no filter) tell you it is a solid idea, it just might be. So we hit the start button on KickStick.

At some point during a road trip out west, we made a pit stop at a random gas station. After loading up on gas, chips, meat sticks, energy drinks, and antacids, you get back on the road and start snacking. Of course, the driver puts their greasy fingers on the steering wheel from the slimy meat stick, another gets crumbs from the chip bag all over, and another starts burping from slamming an energy drink. 

It was at this point that one of us in the car had a light bulb go off - combine most of those common pit stop snacks into one high-quality snack.
